Get your clipboards, your scruple-measuring devices! Fire up your spreadsheet software!  The Sun is now free of a sign-based trine with Mars, entering the cooler, more discerning fields of Virgo.  As much as this is a reprieve from Martial heat for the next month, we may still feel the heat of sky weather coming from other directions:   

We have an intellectual Libra Moon opposing an almost stationary Mars, while squaring stern Saturn. This is what is known as a T-square, symbolizing friction and tension, which occurs today as well. Whatever we want to start or progress is in stasis, the weight of complexity in our current environment may feel overwhelming and restrictive. Restless minds may be quelled by diving into detail-oriented activities.  Remember to come back to Venus in Cancer, finding consideration for yourself and others’ well-being, while you optimize processes in the Virgo area/house of your chart.

Also important, Sun and Mercury in Virgo both oppose Neptune in Pisces by sign noting a polarity between being discerning or deluded.  Confirm you have your facts straight before you claim them.  Try not to lose the forest through the trees.  Avoid obsession with details that miss the point, as extreme pedantry serves no one but the ego of the pedant. Oppositions can feel like a balancing act. It takes continuous attention and effort to keep things balanced. Keep facts AND their overall meaning and utility equally important in the front of your mind. Do not let one usurp the other too much.
