Lunar Eclipse Horoscopes

Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse Horoscopes - Read for your rising sign, enjoy!

Aries

This lunar eclipse shines light on the ninth house of belief, religion/worldview, foreign places/big travel, advanced/continuing education, and broad communications. Our beliefs about the world and our place in it determine the paths we take. Experiences with religion and foriegn travel often shape us deeply as well.  Think back to December 2020 for events that may have brought these themes to the forefront of your life.  Updating our attitudes and philosophies takes time and we aren’t usually aware that it’s even happening. If you feel a bit like a wayward soul, it might be beneficial to focus less on the bigger, wider world for a bit, and invest more into the local friends, neighbors, and personal rituals that keep you grounded. Sometimes patience and a little alone-time are needed for ideas and philosophies to coalesce into something that feels coherent. Hopefully as your ideas and views reorganize and remember themselves over the coming weeks, your sense of self will be reenergized.

Taurus

Patterns in give and take are highlighted now, showing the change needed in how you collaborate with others, how you delegate yourself, or how you engage with the resources of others. Think back to December of 2020 to any collaborations or projects started then.  If your feelings have gotten the best of you in these situations, look to the expectations you have of yourself and others. Do the expectations you have still align with the original goals? Has the collaboration evolved in such a way that goals need to be adjusted? Sometimes we need to look at who we are collaborating with all together and restrategize who we partner with. Look to communities or friendships for inspiration on where to place your potential. See your strong emotions tied to giving and receiving as guideposts that need to be heeded. With this eclipse, release resentment and recommit to asserting your needs when working with others.

Gemini

This lunar eclipse highlights the axis of you and the Other.  December spelled a shift in partnership or serious relationship, leaving confusion over what to believe about them. What to believe about you. Maybe you’re seeing patterns that have followed you through several relationships. The important thing now is to give attention to this realm. Why you believe what you do about partnership is the question now. What emotional patterns from you or partners keep arising, and what has that led you to believe about engaging in partnership? What values or identity do you have now that can help update your beliefs about yourself in partnership and what you need from a partner? Desires and needs change. Knowing what they are can provide a sense of confidence in your ability to judge character and move through the world.

Cancer

This eclipse in your sixth house highlights that which needs your daily attention, how you take care of your body and your pets, how you make financial ends meet. Let go of unhelpful beliefs about what needs to get done and when. There’s usually more than one way to do a thing or to make a living. We can get in our own way by believing we know the best way, all the ways, or that it must be done a certain way. Six months ago, more was asked of you in your daily work or health needs. Lightening your grip on expectations of yourself in your daily life can actually help preserve what is still working well, and help to navigate remaining rocky terrain in your public or career life. New insights to your worldview help guide this balancing act of mental and physical maintenance. If your daily grind feels like a daily struggle, make sure your mental and spiritual health is getting enough attention. This can mean prioritizing your meditation or spiritual practices, or for the average salaryman, quiet stillness for a few minutes a day.

Leo

This eclipse in your fifth house highlights what beliefs or expectations can be loosened or released into the wild now regarding your creative projects, sex/romantic life, or children. Whatever began six months ago is ready for viewing or just about there, whether that be your heart or your art.  If you’re not entirely sure where to channel your refreshed creative energy, look to communities, friends, or the creative visions that have stuck with you most through the years. Collaboration may also kick up some inspiration. As you move forward, new friendships or collaborators will inform the re-creation of your own unique worldview, unbeholden to anyone else’s.

Virgo

This eclipse in your 4th house of origin, private life, family, home, and parents asks you to examine outdated beliefs and emotional patterns relating to where you came from, who you came from, or how you conduct yourself privately. Our origins and parents deeply shape us, as all of our therapists are aware. The belief structures underlying each of us can become a limiting cage rather than a foundation for living our best life. Stale beliefs from childhood about our potential, or ability to relate or right to separate from a parent figure, or other inherited challenges can keep us from knowing ourselves. Examining these old beliefs as well as our emotions around them can guide us to be who we’re supposed to be out in the world. You get to define and redefine yourself as you please. The freedom in this to be multiple things, not beholden to your past, can not only propel you on your journey, but may also inform your ability to receive from others instead of only giving.  Let partners support you as the moonth winds down and our next steps become more clear.

Libra

This eclipse in your third house may highlight a few different themes, including speaking and listening, relations with siblings, neighbors, and cousins, learning, and daily ritual. If you’re generally timid or don’t feel like you ‘deserve’ to take up space, let this eclipse loosen this limiting belief, allowing you to share your vibrant self or ideas with the world. Beliefs that keep you stuck in a pattern of the same rituals, errands, lists, relational obligations can be examined more readily now.  Focusing on these things is of course important; while preserving the rituals and daily happenings that support you and keep you grounded, allow your mind to explore different points of view.  Our values and worldviews naturally evolve as we grow older, and it’s healthy to change how we communicate and move through the world in response.

Scorpio

Over the last six months, themes relating to your money, resources, and self-worth may have now come to a head. This eclipse shines light on any limiting beliefs that keep you from loving yourself, from appreciating your own skills, from asking for fair pay.  Do you feel you need to meet some golden standard of being, the nature of which is a moving target, unattainable by few if any?  Let this lunation remind you that you do not have to prove your worth at all, much less to justify rest or play. Releasing scarcity fear or feelings of unworth can mean preserving the motivation to care for ourselves while letting go of the beliefs that keep us in a constant state of overextension or over-efforting.  Many times this particular theme is rooted deeply in past events, and so one does not just simply stop experiencing those patterns. However awareness is the first step.  Exploring how you can give yourself kindness, and how to engage with the talents and resources of others in cooperation can lighten your burdens. Knowing you have a supportive and diverse network of people in your life is priceless. You don’t have to do it all alone.

Sagittarius

This eclipse occurs in your first house, highlighting the beliefs that make up the structure of the Self. We all have ideas and beliefs conditioned by innumerable things that lead us to an identity. Beliefs about who we are, how we need to act, what roles we must assume. Despite the freedom to unfold into infinite versions of ourselves, most of us find something that is protective and feels good, and we tend to stick with it even after we’ve outgrown it.  It may be time to upgrade the hermit crab shell, dear Sagittarius. Maybe Past You was sparkly and amazing and it’s hard to let go and accept where you are now. Maybe Past You wasn't doing so amazing and you haven’t let go of that sense of Struggling-Self, even though you are no longer struggling. Opposite situations but the same solution: Let go of the past self, embrace the now self, and allow those closest in your circle to inspire your continual unfolding. Allow abundance from parents or home/private life to support you as this lunar cycle wanes.

Capricorn

Eclipses uncover things momentarily, they catalyze beginnings and endings. They symbolize interruptions in light, in consciousness. This lunar eclipse highlights the quietest corner of your chart, to the place symbolizing our mind, spirituality, isolation, suffering, transitions, or hidden enemies.  This lunation asks which of your neural pathways, thought patterns, or spiritual practices need kind attention now?  Perhaps there was an instinct to hermit, but now these practices of isolation need to be softened and more connection with others is needed.  Or the opposite, that you believe your daily grind will wither and die if you take one peaceful moment away.  The old physical/mental health maintenance chestnut in many ways. December 2020 may have been a difficult time in this regard, either due to imbalances of socialization/hermiting, or potentially due to someone working at cross purposes to you. Support now arises from how you schedule your daily practices, rituals, errands, as well as inspiring words or abundance from siblings, close relatives, or neighbors.

Aquarius

This eclipse occurs in your eleventh house of friendships, communities, hopes and dreams, highlighting these areas for attention. This could manifest in a number of ways, some examples being literal such as loss of friendship or losing touch with a community. However this eclipse could also point to beliefs surrounding how friendship is approached. As we age, our values/needs/preferences in friendship change. As we update boundaries to align with our values, there’s a possibility of losing certain relationships. This is also a great time to examine expectations we have of ourselves or our friends, making sure we honor our self-worth while also allowing space for disagreement or conflicting beliefs. The point is to not be too hard on yourself or others. If feelings arise, remember Neptune’s hand in the weather and that we likely need more info than we have to come to proper conclusions. If you’re experiencing a lot of confusion regarding friendship or community involvement, focus on your own paper.  Remember your external and inner resources, what you’re worth, what your values are, so that when the right alliances do come, you will be ready, knowing exactly what you need and want.  Until then, focus on creative projects and self expression in a way that feels authentic and isn’t purely performative for others. Reconsider stale societal roles meant to work for the interests of others, while doing your best to keep the peace.

Pisces

Your 10th house of career and life path are highlighted by this lunar eclipse in Sagittarius. You may be out of work, struggling to find meaning in it, taking a break from it, or changing your attitude regarding it.  Maybe you’re doing work you said you’d never do and are now shifting beliefs about the kind of work that truly interests you, even if Past You would think you’re crazy.  Getting reoriented by focusing on home or your private life might be beneficial. How well this shifting goes depends on your ability to have faith in yourself that all will become clear in time and that you are indeed doing just great. Hopefully Jupiter in your first house will keep you feeling buoyant whilst you’re pulled in twain by the dragon.
